MinoAI is committed to protecting your linguistic privacy. ZERIKO collects learning data to personalize your language acquisition experience while maintaining strict confidentiality.

AUDIO & VOICE PRIVACY

Your voice recordings are encrypted and stored solely for pronunciation analysis and personalized coaching. Recordings are never shared with third parties, used for speech recognition model training, or sold to advertisers. You can delete all voice data at any time.

1. Data Collection

Voice Recordings: Your pronunciation attempts during conversation practice are recorded and encrypted for real-time feedback.

Learning Analytics: Vocabulary retention, game scores, proficiency assessments, time-on-task, and progress across language levels.

Conversation Transcripts: Dialogue history with the AI coach (encrypted, used only for personalization).

Device Data: Device type, OS, IP address, app version, and usage patterns.

2. How We Use Learning Data

  • Personalize pronunciation coaching and difficulty adaptation
  • Track proficiency progression from A0 to C2
  • Generate speaking recommendations and error correction
  • Improve ZERIKO's AI models (using aggregated, anonymized data only)
  • Provide detailed learning analytics and progress reports

3. Audio Recording Security

All voice recordings are encrypted end-to-end. They are stored separately from metadata and accessed only for legitimate learning purposes. We never share voice data with social media platforms, advertisers, or third-party AI model developers.

4. Anki Integration Privacy

When you export vocabulary to Anki, data is sent directly to your Anki account. This integration is governed by Anki's privacy policy. MinoAI does not access your Anki data beyond what you explicitly export.

5. Data Deletion & Export

You may delete all voice recordings, conversation history, and learning data at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion, all directly-controlled data is removed within 30 days. You can export your learning analytics at any time.

7. Third-Party AI Services

ZERIKO uses OpenAI APIs for conversation generation. Your conversation transcripts and pronunciation data are processed by OpenAI per their privacy policy. Aggregated usage is covered by standard API data protection agreements.
